Radisson-Affiliated Bloom Hotel Bali Ungasan to Open in South Bali

As tourism demand in Bali continues to grow, Radisson Hotel Group has announced the launch of Bloom Hotel Bali Ungasan, part of its Radisson Individuals brand, in the Ungasan area of South Bali. Armand Steinmeyer, the group's Vice President of Development for Southeast Asia, discussed the project in an interview with Bisnistoday.co.id.

The hotel is being developed through a partnership with Indonesian hospitality developer HQC Group under an asset-light model, meaning Radisson is not a direct investor but instead provides its brand strength, operational expertise, distribution network, and the Radisson Rewards loyalty ecosystem.

The property will feature 145 rooms, including 22 suites, spread across two four-story buildings surrounding a main pool. Facilities will include an all-day dining restaurant with outdoor terrace, a speakeasy bar, pool bar, spa, gym, and a dedicated yoga space. The hotel is located about five minutes from the popular Melasti Beach, with convenient access to Uluwatu and other attractions on the Bukit Peninsula.

According to Steinmeyer, tourist demand in Bali is increasingly spreading beyond established hotspots like Ubud, Canggu, and traditional Ungasan areas, with growing interest in wellness, lifestyle experiences, and more personalized hospitality. Radisson already operates Radisson Blu Resort Bali Uluwatu and has additional properties planned in Canggu and Ubud, reflecting broader expansion plans across Indonesia.
