Mitsubishi Estate has opened a large outlet mall, "Sila Village Grand Outlet Bali," in Bali, Indonesia. The total project cost is approximately 14.5 billion yen, covering a site area of about 47,000 square meters. Around 130 stores have moved in, including international brands such as Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, Nike, and Adidas, alongside local Balinese brands. The design draws inspiration from Balinese architecture and spaces, developed in partnership with local companies.
The mall is located about 20 minutes by car from Bali's international airport (Denpasar), making it easily accessible for tourists. This marks Mitsubishi Estate's second outlet mall in Indonesia after Jakarta, and it is said to be the first international-standard outlet in Bali where manufacturers sell directly to consumers. The company aims to capture spending from both affluent domestic and international tourists.
For foreign tourists visiting Bali, this adds a new shopping destination close to the airport that can easily fit into travel itineraries.
Things to Consider
Consider visiting on your last day in Bali or before heading to the airport, as it's a convenient stop close to Denpasar airport. Compare prices with home-country pricing for international brands, and check duty-free and return policies beforehand. Since it's near the airport, plan your shopping time with a buffer before your flight.
