Lembongan Surf Team Music Festival 2026 Closes at Mahagiri Beach, Nusa Penida with Police Security
On September 7, 2026, the closing ceremony of the Lembongan Surf Team Music Festival 2026 was held at Mahagiri Beach in Jungutbatu Village, Nusa Penida, Klungkung Regency. Attended by the Klungkung Regent and other officials, police secured the event given the large number of participants and spectators.
Personnel from the Nusa Penida Police Precinct and Lembongan Police Sub-precinct, under the direct command of Nusa Penida Police Chief Comr. I Ketut Kesuma Jaya, provided security for the closing event of the Lembongan Surf Team Music Festival 2026, held on September 7, 2026, at Mahagiri Beach in Jungutbatu Village, Nusa Penida District, Klungkung Regency.
The ceremony was attended by the Klungkung Regent, Deputy Regent, members of the Klungkung Regional Legislative Council, a representative from the Bali Police Water Police Directorate, the Nusa Penida Military District Commander, the Nusa Penida Naval Post Commander, the heads of Jungutbatu and Lembongan villages, the traditional village head of Jungutbatu, festival participants, and local residents. After the official closing declaration by the Regent, a live music performance was held for participants, guests, and attendees.
Given the large number of participants, guests, and residents present, police deployed personnel at several points around the venue to monitor the situation and prevent potential disturbances to public order. In addition to on-site security, officers coordinated with event organizers, related security units, and village and traditional (adat) officials to ensure the event ran smoothly and provided a sense of safety and comfort for everyone present.
Police Chief Kesuma Jaya stated that securing community events, particularly those held in tourist areas, is part of police services aimed at maintaining safety and comfort for both local residents and tourists. "We deployed personnel from the Nusa Penida Precinct and Lembongan Sub-precinct to ensure the entire closing event ran safely and smoothly. Our security approach is humanistic, prioritizing service to the community, participants, and guests," he said.
The event concluded without major incident, supported by cooperation among local authorities, and formed part of ongoing community and tourism promotion activities in the Lembongan area.
