INSA Yacht Festival 2026 Showcases Marine Tourism at Bali's Benoa Marina

According to NusaBali, the INSA Yacht Festival (IYF) 2026 was held at Benoa Marina in Bali from August 7 to 9, 2026. Now in its third edition as a biennial event, the festival is organized by the Indonesian National Shipowners' Association (INSA) to strengthen the marine tourism ecosystem and promote a marine lifestyle.
Tourism Minister Widiyanti Putri Wardhana, speaking at the opening ceremony on August 8, said the festival marks an important step in positioning Indonesia as a world-class marine tourism destination, with yacht tourism identified as one of three pillars of marine tourism alongside cruise and diving tourism.
The three-day event featured yacht exhibitions, educational tours, yacht joy rides, boat launchings, pilates sessions on yachts, fashion shows, and sunset dinner cruises. An educational program brought nearly 400 students from elementary through vocational school levels to learn about the shipping and hospitality industries.
Roland Permana, INSA's Head of Cruise Division, noted that Bali was chosen as the venue due to its marina facilities meeting international standards, and expressed hope for further marina development in other regions, particularly eastern Indonesia.
