Garuda Indonesia Launches New Bandung-Denpasar Route, Fares From Rp1.3 Million

Garuda Indonesia has launched a new round-trip route between Bandung and Denpasar (Bali) starting Friday, August 14, 2026. The route connects Bandung's Husein Sastranegara International Airport (BDO) with Denpasar's I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS).

Garuda Indonesia President Director Glenny Kairupan stated that reopening this route strengthens direct connectivity between West Java and Bali, and forms part of the airline's strategy to develop routes based on market needs and operational readiness. This flight marks Garuda's first departure from Husein Sastranegara Airport since it was officially reopened as an international airport in August 2026, having been closed to commercial flights since October 2023.

The route will operate four times weekly (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday) using a Boeing 737-800NG configured with 12 Business Class seats and 150 Economy Class seats. The inaugural flight departed Bandung at 11:30 WIB, arriving in Denpasar at 14:20 WITA. The return flight departed Denpasar at 09:10 WITA, arriving in Bandung at 10:00 WIB.

Subsequent flights from Bandung to Denpasar will operate as GA-334 (departing Bandung 13:10 WIB, arriving Denpasar 15:55 WITA), while flights from Denpasar to Bandung will operate the following day as GA-335 (departing Denpasar 11:35 WITA, arriving Bandung 12:25 WIB).

One-way ticket prices start from Rp1.3 million and have been available since late July 2026 through Garuda Indonesia centers, sales offices, and official travel agent partners. Additionally, Citilink is set to begin operating flights from Bandung to several destinations starting Monday, August 17, 2026.
