Four Luxury Bali Hotels Join Preferred Hotels & Resorts Portfolio

Preferred Hotels & Resorts, the world's largest independent hotel brand with over 625 properties in 80 countries, has announced the addition of four luxury hotels and resorts in Bali to its global portfolio. The new members include Ametis Villa Bali, a secluded villa retreat in Canggu; Nuju Uluwatu, an adults-only resort in the Bingin area that opened in 2024; Samsara Ubud, a one-Michelin-Key resort north of Ubud; and The Meru Sanur, an all-suite, 184-room beachfront resort located within Indonesia's first health and wellness tourism zone in Sanur.

With this addition, alongside the existing member AYANA Midplaza Jakarta, the total number of Preferred member hotels in Indonesia rises to five, bringing the brand's Southeast Asian portfolio to 25 properties across seven countries. All four new hotels participate in the free I Prefer hotel rewards program, which offers points redeemable at more than 700 Preferred member hotels worldwide.

This announcement does not involve a new opening or regulatory change; rather, it reflects the affiliation of existing luxury properties with an international hotel network. For travelers visiting Bali, this expands accommodation options with an added layer of quality assurance and loyalty program benefits.
