BUVA Strengthens Bali Entertainment Business Through Investment in Kuta's New Zumana Complex

Indonesian listed company PT Bukit Uluwatu Villa Tbk (BUVA) has expanded its indirect involvement in Bali's entertainment and lifestyle sector by investing in PT Kharisma Jawara Abadi (KJA), which holds a majority stake in the KAJA Group, according to a report published by Industri on September 24, 2026.

BUVA holds an effective 16.27% stake in KJA, which in turn owns 58.36% of KAJA Group. KAJA Group operates Zumana, a new beachfront lifestyle destination at Sunset Bay in Kuta. Built on a 3,500-square-meter site and designed by Rockwell Group, Zumana combines a beach day club, dining venues, a pool area, live music, and nightlife entertainment.

Developed in partnership with the Savaya Group, Zumana soft-opened on August 19, 2026, with an official grand opening event scheduled for September 25-26. BUVA CEO Satrio said Bali remains one of the most important tourism and entertainment markets in Southeast Asia, and that developments in Kuta present an important opportunity for a new generation of lifestyle and entertainment offerings.

The investment is seen as part of BUVA's broader strategy to expand its portfolio of lifestyle and entertainment assets in key tourism areas, with the integration of local developers and international partners viewed as central to creating integrated destination concepts along Kuta's coastline.
