Bank BPD Bali Culture Run 2026 Draws 4,000 Runners to Nusa Dua, Bali
The third annual Bank BPD Bali Culture Run 2026 took place at Peninsula Island, ITDC Nusa Dua, Badung Regency, drawing around 4,000 runners from Indonesia and abroad. The event combined sports, culture, tourism and sustainability, featuring traditional Balinese performances along the route and a Race Village showcasing local small businesses.
The Bank BPD Bali Culture Run 2026, now in its third year, was held at Peninsula Island in the ITDC Nusa Dua area of Badung Regency, attracting around 4,000 runners from across Indonesia and overseas. The annual running event was organized by PT Vinda Creative Event together with Bank Pembangunan Daerah Bali (Bank BPD Bali) as the main partner.
Under the theme "Menjejak Bumi, Lestari Harmoni" (Treading the Earth, Sustaining Harmony), the event combined sports, culture, tourism, sustainability and entertainment. The race route followed the coastal scenery of Nusa Dua, with traditional Balinese art performances staged at several points along the course, introducing runners to local cultural heritage.
The event was attended by senior officials including the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, the Governor of Bali, regional government leaders, and national running communities. Bank BPD Bali President Director I Nyoman Sudharma said the third edition reflects the company's continued commitment to developing sport tourism while supporting inclusive regional economic growth.
Dozens of small and medium enterprises (UMKM) sold culinary products, handicrafts and other local goods at the Race Village, and hotel occupancy and economic activity in the ITDC Nusa Dua area reportedly increased during the event. Bank BPD Bali also offered digital payment services via QRIS and the Balipay app, along with on-site account opening and mobile banking registration.
A special performance by DJ Una added to the festive atmosphere, entertaining runners and visiting tourists. Organizers said medical teams, hydration points along the route, and traffic management were prepared to ensure a safe running experience.
